Description

This module provides a strong educational yet practical foundation for understanding the fundamental concepts, methods, techniques and practices of maintenance management with a focus on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). TPM is a world-class proactive and productive maintenance management philosophy encompassing strategies and focussed tactical approaches for the enterprise's assets and resources to enhance equipment reliability and overall productivity. Students will develop an analysis and evaluation of, ideally, their own organisation's maintenance management and develop a report of the state-of-the-art, current weaknesses and recommendations for improvement, optimisation and implementation.
